Future Forward Fund
The Future Forward Fund provides an opportunity to access resources from trusted organizations that are committed to the success of expanding greater Birmingham’s small business ecosystem.
The Fund aims to empower micro and small businesses, creatives, entrepreneurs, and non-profits. The 8th Future Forward grant cycle will launch August 2025.
Key Facts
Since launching in February 2021, the Future Forward Fund has awarded over $125,000 to more than 100 businesses.
With each grant cycle, the Foundation receives strong community support, casting votes to uplift a diverse range of entrepreneurs and organizations. Future Forward recipients represent industries such as arts, finance, catering, beauty, airbrush design, transportation, gourmet treats, staffing, fashion, event planning, drone solutions, and more.
